What is a VPS and VDS server?
VPS (Virtual Private Server) and VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server) are virtual servers with dedicated CPU, RAM, and disk resources. Unlike shared hosting, you get root access and can install any software and configure the system however you want. In practice, the terms VPS and VDS are used interchangeably today.
What's the difference between VPS and VDS?
Technically there's almost no difference — both terms mean a virtual server with dedicated resources. Historically, VDS implied KVM virtualization with full hardware emulation, while VPS could use OpenVZ. All our plans run on KVM, so both VPS and VDS are equally isolated and stable.
How much does VPS hosting cost?
