What is the difference between a cloud server and a VPS?
For most buyers there is none: both are virtual machines with reserved resources and root access. “Cloud server” emphasises that the server is created on demand and can be resized at any time, which is exactly how our VPS plans work.
Is a cloud server a good choice for a small business?
Yes. A 2โ4 GB cloud server costs $10โ24 a month and can host a company website, a CRM, an internal wiki, file sync or a small online store. You get dedicated resources and a fixed price without buying hardware.
Can I run Windows on a cloud server?
Yes. Select Windows Server 2019 or 2022 at checkout and connect over RDP. Windows uses about 2 GB RAM on its own, so choose a plan with at least 4 GB. See our Windows VPS page for details.
How much does a cloud server cost?
From $10/month for 1โ2 GB RAM. A typical 4 GB server is $17โ24/month and 8 GB is $23โ47/month depending on the location. Paying for 3, 6 or 12 months lowers the monthly rate by 5%, 10% or 15%.
Do you bill hourly?
No, cloud servers are billed per month or per longer term. If the server does not suit your task, you can request a refund within 14 days of payment.
Can I upgrade my cloud server later?
Yes. Upgrades are applied from the billing panel without reinstalling the system; you pay only the difference for the remaining period.

Linux or Windows cloud server?
Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky) is lighter, free and the default for web servers, containers and databases. Choose a Windows cloud server when you need .NET, MS SQL, trading terminals or a remote desktop for your team.
